Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

- Proper packaging and labeling of all shipments

- Ensuring shipments comply with HIPAA, OSHA, DOT, and applicable Indiana and federal regulations

- Accuracy of pickup and delivery information

HIPAA and Confidentiality

We act as a Business Associate when applicable and comply with HIPAA regulations. Access to Protected Health Information (PHI) is limited strictly to what is necessary for transportation.

Chain of Custody

While we follow reasonable chain-of-custody procedures, responsibility for the condition and compliance of shipped items remains with the sender.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are agreed upon prior to service. Late payments may be subject to fees. We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment.

Cancellations and Delays

Clients must provide reasonable notice for cancellations. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, accidents, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indiana law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific courier service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ruki Logistics from claims arising from improper packaging, labeling, or regulatory non-compliance.

Insurance

We maintain commercially reasonable insurance coverage as required by Indiana law. Additional insurance must be requested in writing.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
